Global 5000

The Global 5000 is an ultra-long range large cabin class business spurt introduced in 2005 and is a variation of the original BD- 700 that entered service in 1999. Superior range, speed and cabin comfort are the main reasons why business aircraft drivers were motivated to upgrade to the Bombardier Global 5000 from lower, slower and shorter- range business aircraft.

The Global 5000 provides seating for over to 16 passengers in the pressurized flat bottom cabin. The aircraft is operated by a crew of 3 and features the Vision Flight Deck.

The Global 5000 can be fluently honoured via its CRJ fuselage attached to a low swept super-critical wing with winglets. Firstly, the aircraft has a 35,733- pound usable energy capacity, sufficient for flying 4,800 nm at 566 knots and wharf with NBAA IFR reserves. When drivers raised that the Global 5000 didn’t have sufficient range, Bombardier introduced Service Bulletin 700- 1A11-11-008.

The spurt is equipped with flat- panel Rockwell Collins ProLine Fusion outfit and a Vision cockpit, a system that some Bombardier rally aviators say is covers in the aeronautics assiduity. The cabin can carry up to 13 passengers, and three crew members.

Powered by two BR710A2- 20 machines producing,750 lbf each, allowing the 5000 to carry 4 passengers an NBAA IFR range of,475 nm with a maximum voyage speed of 499 knots.
