The King Air B200 is a binary- turboprop transport and mileage aircraft. The maximum position speed at 25,000 ft is 540km/ hr and the range is 3,442 km. The aircraft has a wharf run of just 536m and take- off run of 567m, allowing the operator to access to small remote fields.
The King Air Beech 200 has two Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6A- 60A reverse inflow, free turbine machines, each rated at 1,050 shp. The Hartzell propellers are four- bladed, 239 cm periphery automatic feathering, reversible- pitch essence propellers.
The King Air B200 is now being offered with the Rockwell Collins Pro Line 21 avionics suite as standard outfit. This includes 8in x 10in primary flight displays grounded on active- matrix TV (Liquid Crystal Display) technology and a multi-function display with primary machine information, systems synoptics, rosters and nautical data – including planning charts, present-position charts and heading. Terrain, business, lightning, rainfall radar and other detector information can also be displayed.
The B200 has a comfortable and ample ‘squared- round’ pressurised cabin. The air-conditioned cabin can be fitted with seven or nine seats. The hinder cabin door is equipped with airstairs.
