The Embraer Praetor 500 was introduced in October 2018 along with the Praetor 600. It entered Brazilian type instrument in August 2019. Praetor 500 is the coming elaboration of the heritage 450, offering lesser range. Current heritage 450 aircraft are suitable to be modified with the Praetor 500 changes in after 2019 early 2020 through an STC. The Praetor 500 is powered by two HTF7500E machines producing,540 lbf each, allowing the Praetor to carry 4 passengers an NBAA IFR range of 3,250 nm, with a maximum voyage speed of 462 knots.
The cockpit is equipped with Rockwell Collins Pro Line Fusion flight deck, which also includes Synthetic Vision System, Enhanced Vision, and Head- Up Display to extend situational mindfulness.
Full cover-by-line with side-stick controls reduces airman workload and provides easier conservation. The cabin is designed with Honeywell Ovation Select Cabin Management Suite, which provides full 1080P HD videotape streaming and immersive audio, as well as an upper technology panel for flight status information, ambient lighting, and access to cabin controls.
